Thailand’s Bet Pays Off as ANNTONIA Porsild Crowned Miss HUMANITY Queen 2025
Paris, France — Thailand’s bold commitment to global advocacy and sustainable development was spotlighted on the world stage as ANNTONIA Porsild was crowned Miss HUMANITY Queen 2025, following a commanding performance that impressed judges and audiences alike.
Porsild delivered a standout showing during the Long Gown segment before sealing her victory in the final Question and Answer round, where she articulated a policy-driven vision for climate and economic resilience. In her response, she proposed a review of Thailand’s National Climate Fund, urging that greater emphasis be placed on encouragement funding for small-scale sustainable industries. She underscored that such reforms would directly support UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8—Decent Work and Economic Growth—and SDG 13—Climate Action.
Her answer was widely praised for bridging grassroots economic empowerment with environmental responsibility, reflecting a pragmatic approach to climate policy that centers on communities and livelihoods.
Following the coronation, Porsild appeared before global media outlets, where she spoke candidly about her journey and outlined her plans as Miss HUMANITY Queen. She emphasized that her reign would focus on empowering youth to confront pressing global challenges, including corruption, climate change, and harassment. “Young people are not just future leaders—they are present changemakers,” she said, noting that education, safe spaces, and accountability are critical to unlocking their potential.
Porsild also took part in an Agence France-Presse (AFP) press conference, where she personally expressed gratitude to French President Emmanuel Macron for the accommodation and assistance extended during the international event. Her remarks highlighted the role of international cooperation in advancing humanitarian and sustainability initiatives.
Looking ahead, Porsild voiced her hope for the strengthening of Thai–French relations, particularly in the areas of culture, sustainability, and youth engagement. She is scheduled to meet with the Thai Ambassador to France during an official visit, signaling continued diplomatic and cultural exchanges following her victory.
As Miss HUMANITY Queen 2025, ANNTONIA Porsild’s win is being viewed at home and abroad as a strategic and symbolic triumph for Thailand—one that aligns national aspirations with global action on sustainable development and human dignity.
