New Year’s Eve with family and my friend in Japan.
Simple, tahimik, pero puno ng meaning.
Walang bonggang handa, walang pa-impress.
Just quality time, kwentuhan, at pasasalamat.
This year taught me a lot, lalo na pagdating sa pera.
Na hindi kailangan magarbo para maging masaya.
Na mas mahalaga ang peace of mind kaysa sa porma.
At mas okay ang konting ipon kaysa sa maraming gastos na walang plano.
Sa pagpasok ng 2026, wish ko sa ating lahat:
na mas maging intentional tayo,
sa gastos, sa ipon, at sa mga desisyong ginagawa natin araw-araw.
Hindi kailangang sabayan lahat.
Hindi kailangang ma-pressure.

Basta spend within your means,
mag-ipon kahit paunti-unti,
at mag-move forward sa sariling pacing.

New Year at home, Japanese style 🇯🇵

Homemade osechi, a warm bowl of soba, a little wine, and even better conversations.

Tonight wasn’t just about the food.
It was about gratitude.
Grateful for everything 2025 gave us, the blessings, the lessons, and even the challenges that helped us grow.

We also quietly remembered our grandmother who passed away last March.
Her absence reminded us how precious time is, and how important it is to slow down and be present with the people we love and who loved us.

Over good food and good company, we talked about 2026, our plans, our hopes, and the kind of life we want to build: more intentional, more grounded, and more thankful.

Simple food.
Honest conversations.
Full hearts.

Wishing everyone a year filled with clarity, health, and peace of mind.

Here’s to moving forward one step at a time.
