Hiroshima Peace Memorial Day 🕊️

Today, August 6, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
A haunting reminder of the true cost of war, not just for the nation leaders and men in uniform, but for countless innocent civilians who bear the deepest wounds.

In a time when so many parts of the world are still facing war and conflict, this day feels especially timely.
No one truly wins in war.
It is the ordinary people, families, children, communities, who suffer the most.

Let us not forget the lessons of the past.
Let us remember the value of peace, of dialogue, and of humanity.
May we continue to choose compassion over conflict, and never lose hope in building a more peaceful world.

Be honest, what Japanese food did you hate at first but now totally love? 😅💬

For me, it’s miso soup.
I used to find the taste kinda weird, but now I seriously look forward to having it with my meals. It just feels so comforting🍲

Just… don’t make me eat natto. 😂
That one’s still a nope for me.

How about you? What’s your food conversion story?

Are we doing this right?

If you’re a parent and you’ve asked yourself this more times than you can count, you’re not alone.
We question ourselves constantly.
The decisions. The boundaries. The screen time. The meals. The discipline.
Even the little things—Did I hug them enough today? Was I too harsh? Should I have said yes instead of no?

Because raising tiny humans doesn’t come with a manual.
Just a heart full of love… and a mind full of worry.

But maybe the fact that we care this much…
Already means we’re doing better than we think. 💛

🌊 What To Do If You’re at the Beach During a Tsunami Alert in Japan 🚩🚨

Tsunamis can strike fast, and you might not always hear the warnings.

Here’s what you need to know if you’re by the sea in Japan:

📱 Alerts Aren’t Just on Phones
Japan’s early warning system uses:
🔊 Outdoor sirens
📣 Public loudspeaker announcements
📲 Mobile alerts
🌐 TV and radio broadcasts

But here’s the important part if you’re at the beach:
👂 You might not hear sirens or announcements over the waves and wind.

🟥➡️ Look for the Tsunami Warning Flag
Since 2020, beaches in Japan use a red and white striped flag when a tsunami warning is in effect.
This is your visual cue to evacuate immediately, even if you don’t hear anything.

🔺 If you see this flag:
➡️ Don’t wait. Head to higher ground ASAP.
➡️ Do not return to the beach until authorities say it’s safe.
➡️ Follow signs for tsunami evacuation routes.

Let’s enjoy the sea safely and stay alert for signs that could save lives. 🌊🚨

🚨 Tsunami Warning:
Your Life Is Not Worth the Content 🌊

We know the temptation, to capture that once in a lifetime shot, to go viral.
But this is not the time.
Tsunamis are unpredictable and deadly.

📵 Don’t go near the coast.
📸 No video or photo is worth your safety.
🙏 Please prioritize your life and the lives of emergency responders.

📡 Leave the monitoring to the experts.
Your only job right now is to stay safe and stay away.

Stay alert. Stay safe. Stay away.

Lately, it feels like the world is just… heavy.
War. Earthquakes. Floods. Shootings.
And as a parent, it hits different.
The fear, the helplessness, especially when we’re not with our kids.
You start to wonder: What kind of world are they growing up in?

I’ve been feeling anxious more often than I’d like to admit.
But when everything feels out of control,
I turn to prayer.
Not because it fixes everything,
but because it helps me breathe again.
It reminds me: I may not be able to protect them from everything,
but I can lift them up to the One who can.

Let’s keep holding our little ones close,
in our arms and in our prayers. 💛

Guess what’s making my inner fashionista scream?
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is happening! 👠✨

Where are my millennial mommies at? 🙋‍♀️
We watched this in our teens, dreaming of being that career girl — strutting in heels, latte in hand, rocking fierce outfits , living the life 💃

Fast forward to today:
Still chasing dreams… just with baby wipes in my tote bag and a tumbler instead of Starbucks 🤣
But hey, style never really left. 😉

Time to relive the fantasy, mamas. Let’s go back to when belts were life, bangs were blunt, and Miranda Priestly ruled the world. 💼💄

🗳️ Japan Election Update: What It Means for Us Foreign Workers

So Japan just had elections, and one of the biggest headlines is the rise of a party called Sanseito. They got more seats in the government and are gaining popularity fast.

Here’s what’s important for us:
• Sanseito is pushing a “Japanese First” policy. That means they want stricter immigration rules.
• They don’t support giving welfare or public jobs to foreigners.
• They want to limit how long we can stay, even if we’re skilled workers.

⚠️ BUT!
No laws have changed yet. Everything is still just proposals and opinions.
It’s a good reminder to stay updated, but no need to panic. Just keep an eye on how things develop and make sure your visa and paperwork are all good.

Stay informed, stay calm.
