Celis issued a public apology, and reminder na rin ito sa ating lahat.
Hindi porket mukhang natutuwa yung mga Japanese na nakita ka, ibig sabihin masaya talaga sila.
May culture sila na hindi marunong mamahiya—they avoid confrontation as much as possible. Kahit may ayaw sila, they’ll still smile, nod, or act politely. Pero deep inside, pwedeng natatawa na sila, naiinis, or uncomfortable na.
Sa Japan, manners matter, and kahit simple actions natin can be misunderstood.
Kaya lagi nating i-consider ang kultura nila when visiting or interacting.
Nag-apologize ka nga, pero parang puro justification pa rin yung lumabas — kaya tuloy parang hindi ka rin talaga nag-apologize.
Sa totoo lang, apology is not about explaining why you did it.
It’s about owning the mistake, understanding the culture, and acknowledging na may na-offend, kahit hindi mo intention.
Respect the place, respect the people.
Real apology = accountability + learning + respect.
