今年の夏にオープンした、追分宿の「sumiya yakuzen」さん。江戸時代から続く老舗・寿美屋さんの中にあります。
信州の旬を味わう薬膳料理を求めて行ってまいりました。
早速、薬膳粥と養生料理プレートのセットを注文。
プレートには9種類の料理が乗り、華やかで食欲をそそります。すり流しやカレー風味の和え物などバラエティに富んだラインナップ。
薬膳粥は、鶏出汁の風味を感じられる優しいお味。こちらはおかわり自由なのも嬉しいですね。
一緒についてくる生薬湯の薬膳も季節ごと変わるそう。身体の芯から温まりました。
身体に優しい食事をお腹いっぱいいただきました。これからのさむい冬も乗り切れそうです！

Sumiya Yakuzen, which opened this summer in Oiwake-juku, is located inside the long-established Sumiya, a shop with a history dating back to the Edo period.
I visited in search of yakuzen (traditional medicinal) cuisine that highlights the seasonal flavors of Shinshu.
I ordered the set featuring yakuzen rice porridge and a nourishing plate. The plate was beautifully presented with nine different dishes, making it both colorful and appetizing. The selection was wonderfully varied, including pureed soups and curry-flavored dressed dishes.
The yakuzen porridge had a gentle, comforting flavor with hints of chicken broth—and refills are free, which was a nice bonus.
The accompanying herbal medicinal tea changes with the seasons, and it warmed me from the core.
I enjoyed a filling yet body-friendly meal. It feels like I’ll be able to get through the cold winter ahead just fine.
