A manhunt is underway in Yokohama after a 31-year-old man was blindsided and stabbed while exercising at Mitsuzawa Park in Kanagawa Ward.According to the Kanagawa Prefectural Police, the victim was stretching inside the park grounds when an unknown assailant approached from behind and pushed him hard to the ground. As the man fell forward, he realized he had been stabbed in his right flank. Because the attack happened so suddenly from behind, the victim was unable to get a clear description of the suspect.In an incredible display of resilience, the injured jogger managed to walk entirely on his own to a nearby hospital to seek emergency medical treatment. Hospital staff immediately alerted local law enforcement. Medical personnel confirmed that while his injuries are serious, he is currently in stable condition and his wounds are not life-threatening.Investigators are currently treating the incident as a random street assault, as the victim stated he has absolutely no prior connection or acquaintance with the attacker. Police are actively reviewing neighborhood security camera footage and appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in or around Mitsuzawa Park.Residents in the area are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to authorities immediately.
