How Much Time Do You Really Need to Give?

One of the most common questions I hear is:

“How much time do I need to give to this business?”

The answer is simple:

👉 It depends on your goals.

If you’re looking for a little extra income, even 1-2 focused hours a day can make a difference.

If you’re aiming for financial freedom, replacing your job income, or building a long-term asset, you’ll need to treat it like a real business and invest more time consistently.

The truth is, most people spend hours scrolling social media every day. What if you invested just a portion of that time into building your future?

You don’t need 8 hours a day.
You don’t need to be an expert.
You don’t need a perfect start.

✅ You need consistency.
✅ You need the right guidance.
✅ You need a willingness to learn and grow.

Small actions done daily can create life-changing results over time.

The question isn’t “Do I have enough time?”

It’s:

“Am I willing to make time for the future I want?”

හොඳට ඉගෙන ගන්න කියලා අපිට කියනවා.ඊට පස්සේ රස්සාවක් හොයාගෙන,
දවසේ පැය ගණන් වැඩ කරලා,
මාසෙ අන්තිමට වැටුපක් ගන්න.ඒක වැරදි දෙයක් නෙවෙයි.
ඒත් කාලයත් එක්ක මට තේරුණේ,
අපිට දවසකට තියෙන්නේ පැය 24ක් විතරයි කියලා.

ඒ නිසා වැඩි ආදායමක් අවශ්‍ය වුණාම,
වැඩි වෙලාවක් වැඩ කරන්න වෙනවා.

“කාලය විතරක් විකුණන්නේ නැතුව, වෙනත් විදියකින් ආදායමක් ගොඩනගන්න බැරිද?”

ඒ ප්‍රශ්නය තමයි මාව අලුත් දේවල් ඉගෙන ගන්න,
පුද්ගලික වර්ධනය ගැන හිතන්න,
ඩිජිටල් ව්‍යාපාර ගැන සොයන්න යොමු කළේ.

මම විශ්වාස කරන දෙයක් තියෙනවා.

සාර්ථකත්වය කියන්නේ මුදල් විතරක් නෙවෙයි.

✨ තමන් කැමති දේවල් කරන්න වෙලාව තිබීම.
✨ පවුල එක්ක ගුණාත්මක කාලයක් ගත කරන්න පුළුවන් වීම.
✨ ජීවිතයේ තෝරාගැනීම් වැඩි කරගැනීම.

ඒ නිසා මම තවමත් වැඩ කරනවා…
ඒත් අද මම වැඩ කරන්නේ මගේ අනාගතය වෙනුවෙන්, මගේ සිහින වෙනුවෙන්.

Yesterday was a reminder of what’s possible. ✨

We had an amazing and inspiring team meeting with one of our top leaders.

What inspired me the most wasn’t just his success—it’s the fact that he started as an ordinary person with a vision, just like many of us. Today, after 8 years of consistent effort, learning, and growth, he has built a thriving business and enjoys the freedom of being a full-time business owner.

Listening to his journey reminded me that success doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up, staying committed, and believing in the process even when results aren’t immediate.

Sometimes people only see the success. They don’t see the years of dedication, challenges, sacrifices, and personal growth behind it.

Yesterday’s meeting reinforced something I truly believe:

Your current situation does not determine your future. Your daily actions do.

In Japan, there’s a beautiful concept called Ikigai.

It means “a reason for being” — the reason you wake up every morning with purpose and excitement.

Your Ikigai lies where these four things meet:

Many people spend years chasing success without first asking themselves:

“Am I living with purpose?”

This Monday, instead of focusing only on your to-do list, focus on your WHY.

Sundays are usually all about family for us. ❤️

But this morning started with an inspiring business discussion with one of our top leaders. Those conversations always remind me why growth matters and why surrounding yourself with the right people can change your perspective.

After that, I spent time taking my daughter to her classes, and later I made time for my yoga session.

It was a busy and hectic day from start to finish. Not everything went perfectly, and there was a lot to juggle. But today reminded me that productivity isn’t about doing everything—it’s about prioritizing what matters most.

Family. Growth. Health.

Today, I made time for all three, and that’s something I’m proud of. 🌱

Sometimes success isn’t about having more hours in the day. It’s about being intentional with the hours you have.
