‼️A CALL FOR CHANGE‼️Share this video and comment your experience about contract verification and OEC procedure from MWO especially in Japan.
In a nutshell, I changed companies in Japan in 2021 while already having an existing work visa. In 2023 MWO asked Japanese companies to tie up with Philippine agencies (PRA) to handle contract verification. However, those who are already working in Japan before the company joined these agencies and changed employers domestically are also asked to go through the agency for contract verification and pay hefty fees that is actually free through MWO. They are advising employees to go through the PRA track if their companies have existing agencies when MWO was the one who required companies to tie up with agencies. Unacceptable! Isn’t this a clear abuse of our hard-earned salaries?
OFWs deserve better services and streamlined procedures! Calling Department of Migrant Workers to look into this!
