Located next to Lake Hamana, this beautiful garden has been open since 1970 and is filled with seasonal flowers like tulips, cherry blossoms, and wisteria. There’s a big playground for kids, open grassy areas perfect for picnics, and cozy cafés and shops to enjoy. The park is wheelchair and stroller friendly, with benches and rest spots everywhere. A free electric cable car helps visitors go up the hills, and a cute flower train takes you on a 15-minute ride around the park, stopping at five different places. You can also get a discount ticket that includes the nearby Hamamatsu Zoo. All ticket sales help keep the garden beautiful and support new flower displays.
