Winsome hosts "Positive Vibes" for 78.6 FM Yomitan (Okinawa, Japan) and a segment on the American Forces Network Pacific (AFN Okinawa) called "You Winsome, You Lose Some". As a Master Resiliency Trainer and Professional Coach, he teaches lessons aimed towards enhancing personal and professional growth. He has dedicated the past six years to teaching others how to b

uild healthier relationships with themselves, their families and their teammates. His lessons also focus on targeting anxiety, depression or trauma which can lead to ineffective beliefs and behaviors. He believes in taking an immersive and collaborative approach to helping his listeners and attendees apply the lessons. While serving on active duty in the United States Air Force, Winsome also ventured as a radio show host and freelance photojournalist. During his time stationed in Thule, Greenland he developed and trained other radio personalities to create continuous motivational segments broadcast throughout the region from the world's northernmost radio-station. In 2019 his efforts culminated in an interview with the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. Winsome's guests have included mental health professionals, NASA astronauts, scientists, notable authors, professors, visiting actors, motivational speakers and other subject matter experts.

Winsome's unmatched energy, passion to care for others and unique style of delivery has been highly sought after by local businesses, schools, fitness coaches and military units throughout Japan. “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

It’s not always easy to wake up feeling inspired, especially when the noise of negativity feels louder than the stillness of peace. But each new day holds quiet opportunities if we’re willing to slow down and look for them.

Here are 4 simple ways to stay Grounded, Grateful, and Present:

1. Start with Stillness.
Before grabbing your phone or diving into your to-do list, take 60 seconds to breathe deeply and ask, “What is one thing I’m grateful for today?” Let that guide your focus.

2. Shift Your Gaze.
Instead of looking for what’s missing or broken, practice noticing what’s working—who showed up for you, what beauty is hiding in the ordinary, and how far you’ve come.

3. Train your brain to Find the Good.
Each day may not be perfect, but there is good in every day. When you consistently choose to look for what’s meaningful or joyful, you begin to rewire your brain for gratitude, peace, and emotional resilience.

4. End on Purpose.
