Retro Bathhouse Magic in Shizuoka♨️

History about this bathhouse:

桜湯 (Sakura-Yu)
Type: old-style public bath
Style: Milk bath, herbal bath days, sauna sometimes optional
Usually open evenings; many local neighborhood regulars.

This type of sento often opened in the late 1950s to 1970s, during Shizuoka’s downtown shopping street boom. The second floor likely served as the owner’s residence, which was extremely common for family-run bathhouses.
The cute noren (with lucky-god style characters and the 赤い「ゆ」) is a hint that this bathhouse is still operating, not abandoned.
