During my Samurai Tour in Shiga Prefecture winter last year, I got to train with real kendo masters alongside this amazing group. Kendo isn’t just about sparring—it’s about discipline, respect, and connecting with centuries of Japanese tradition.
If you’re visiting Japan, don’t skip Shiga. Beyond its beautiful Lake Biwa and temples, you can immerse yourself in unique cultural experiences like this one.
