Have you ever felt like someone you deeply cared for betrayed you?
Like when you opened your heart to that person — whether it’s a friend, a family member, or someone you once considered your life partner.
But one day, they suddenly changed and spoke behind your back, leaving you with nothing but a shattered heart.
You start to ask yourself, Should I hate this person so I don’t have to feel broken anymore? Should I become bitter over what they did to me?
Lord, what can I do with this pain?
Hey, you don’t have to hate someone just to unlove them.
Don’t let the evil whisper in your head fool you into hating that person.
Allow yourself to love them just as Jesus loves you — even when you once hated Him 🤍
As Romans 5:8 says,
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Feelings may fade, but true love for your neighbors should never die.
Luke 6:27–28
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”
Ephesians 4:31–32
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger… Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
When confusion arises, open your bible and pray. Ask for God to give you a gentle spirit and show the love of Jesus to those who hated you.
You may get hurt and feel broken, but God is always there with you and stays with you in your healing process. Virtual hugs to you my dear. 🤍
