Twist Ahoyaya..Sudanese national football team (Al-Jedian Falcons) held its first training session on its field in the Libyan city of Benghazi after arriving from the Ghanaian city of Accra.

Sudan came out of the last round with a valuable draw against the Ghanaian national team, and the two sides will meet again on Tuesday afternoon at Benina Stadium in Benghazi, as part of the fourth round of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Before the start of the training, the technical director of the Falcons of Jediane, Kwasi Appiah, addressed the players that the upcoming match is pivotal and very important to ensure qualification.
Appiah said that the Ghanaian team will enter the match only to win after the draw at home, and that efforts must be doubled and preparations must be made well for the match. He explained to them the training method in the coming period.
The national fitness trainer, Ihab Abu Idris, started the physical fitness training by running around the stadium to loosen the muscles, and physical fitness training using signs and indicators, and recreational exercises amidst the players’ high morale.
After completing the physical fitness training, the technical staff divided the players into three groups: defenders, midfielders and attackers, to perform special training under the supervision of the technical director, Kwasi Appiah, his assistant, Kofi, and the national general coach, Salah Al-Fanj, to implement some tactical phrases.
On the other hand, the Ghanaian goalkeeping coach, Eric, and his national assistant, Yasser Kejik, subjected the trio, Mohamed Mostafa, Kadiaba and Ahmed Peter, to physical fitness training and various exercises between the three posts.

Abu Bakr Al-Mahi, the administrative director, confirmed that stricter controls will be implemented in preparation for the match during the current camp. It was decided to ban press statements by players and the technical staff, and to ban personal and public visits to the delegation at the hotel in Benghazi until the end of the match.
Al-Mahi called for directing all attention and thinking to how to achieve victory and not to be preoccupied with anything else, offering his apologies to everyone, targeting the first goal that is consistent with the importance of Tuesday’s match against Benghazi.
Ghanaian calls for focus
The technical director of the Sudanese national team, Ghanaian Kwasi Appiah, stressed discipline and addressed the players before the start of the first training session at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi.
Appiah said: We finished an important match in which we achieved a good result, and a more important match awaits us on Tuesday. The Ghanaian team, after its draw with us in Accra and Angola’s victory over Niger and its leadership of the group, will work to compensate and will enter the match only to win to revive its hopes.
He called on the players to focus and benefit from the training to address the mistakes of the Accra round, and said that you are aiming to qualify for the finals in Morocco and sn**ch one of the qualification cards from the group, and this requires doubling efforts, training seriously and correcting mistakes.
He added: Focusing on the preparatory training to face the Black Stars is important, renewing his confidence in them to give their best and please the fans who are looking forward to reaching the final of the African Cup of Nations.

The Libyan media was keen to attend the training of the Falcons of Jediane at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium. They spoke to the technical director of the Sudanese national team, Ghanaian Kwasi Appiah, who discussed the third round and the progress of preparations for the fourth round and his preparatory program for it, and praised the national team players and the positive performance they provided.
The broadcasting channel “BeIN Sports” hosted the star of the Sudanese national team, Abu Bakr Issa, who spoke to them about the positive result achieved by the team in Accra and the preparations for the return match next Tuesday, revealing their ambition to sn**ch the qualification card from the group.

At five o'clock this evening, Sunday, the Ghanaian national football team will arrive in the Libyan city of Benghazi on a private plane with more than (50) people, to face the Sudanese national team (the Falcons of Jediane) in the fourth round of the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 AD, the day after tomorrow, Tuesday afternoon.
The Sudanese administrative mission completed all arrangements for the mission's arrival in coordination with the Libyan Football Federation.
