Finished the painting today. Everything turned out well, with no paint errors. I used a medium brown for the undercoat, before the more rraditional tan for the fur. I decided to do the goggle lenses in goldleaf, similar to the cartoon I guess, because it gave better definition and detail, to what is otherwise a figure in unblemished white.

I’ve been wanting to make a Frostbite figure for months now, after I resigned myself to the fact that I didn’t want to buy Hasbro’s Snow Cat vehicle just to have him. The Beyonder figure from Marvel seemed like a fine base, so I mixed up what was left of my first (and highly coveted) ProCreate two-part epoxy. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find my sculpting tools (I probably put them somewhere stupid thinking I woild never lose them, and now I don’t know where that is), so I had to do everything with a pair of tweezers and an exacto blade, because the epoxy was mixed 50/50 and hardening fast. Turned out pretty nice! Will be ready for paint tomorrow.

My personal creation, the Experimental GM Interceptor. Designed to engage enemies quicker and further-out from its parent ship, the GM Interceptor was conceived too late in the war to yield any significant combat data.
