Backyard Gardening Chronicles 🤫
I was getting ready to harvest and dry my "mint" for tea.
Then I took a closer look...
Turns out it wasn't mint. 🤣🤣🤣
I've been proudly growing what is most likely しそ (shiso) this whole time.
Good thing I checked before serving everyone my "mint tea" and wondering why it tasted suspiciously Japanese. 😂🍵
At this point, our garden has become a mystery box:
✅ String beans which turned out to be French beans
✅ Lemongrass survived 😆
✅ Mystery seedlings ( still unknown )
✅ My daughter's secret contributions
✅ "Mint" that isn't mint
The plants are growing well.
My plant identification skills, however, are still a work in progress. 🤭🌱
