In the heart of Kitashiobara, where the silence of the forest is broken only by the rustle of wind and the distant call of a mountain bird, lies a trail that feels almost enchanted — the Goshikizuma Nature Trail (五色沼自然探勝路). Winding gently through lush woods and shimmering marshlands, this path leads you past a series of mystical ponds — each with its own soul, color, and story.

On this warm June day, the world seems wide awake. The summer sun dapples through the dense green canopy, scattering gold across the trail. At Kunashōmon-numa (昆沙門沼), the emerald waters glisten like liquid jade, reflecting a sky that feels close enough to touch. Just a little further, Yanaginuma (柳沼) offers a moment of hushed serenity, its surface a mirror of perfect stillness, disturbed only by the soft landing of a dragonfly.

And then — a slither. A flash of scales. Even the snakes, it seems, have emerged to bask in the warmth and marvel at the view. No threat here, just fellow wanderers, lingering on the trail, like us, drawn by nature’s quiet spectacle.

在北塩原的深山裡，有一條像童話般的秘徑——五色沼自然探勝路。這裡，不只是步道，更是一場靈魂與自然的深度對話。

我們踏上這條靜謐的小徑，林蔭斑駁，蟲鳴鳥語。昆沙門沼的湖水碧綠如玉，像是森林獻上的寶石；轉個彎，柳沼如一面澄澈的鏡子，倒映著六月的晴空與漂浮的雲影。

就在我們沉醉於這片寧靜時，一抹銀光閃過草叢——**一條蛇，悠然地爬行而過。**牠不是驚嚇，而是提醒：連野生動物也出來，共享這片夏日暖陽與湖光山色。

五色沼的每一口氣息，都是自然的低語。步步皆景，水色隨光而變，彷彿走入一幅會呼吸的畫。這不僅是一段旅程，更是一次靜心感受自然奇幻魔法的體驗。

六月の五色沼にて —— 蛇さえも散歩に出る夏の日

福島・北塩原の森の奥、五色沼自然探勝路は、まるで物語の中に迷い込んだような静かな山道。静寂の中に響く鳥のさえずりと風の音が、心にそっと染み込む。

陽射しが木漏れ日となって小道を照らし、毘沙門沼はまるで翡翠の湖。その澄んだ緑は、まるで自然が創り出した宝石のよう。少し進むと、柳沼が鏡のような水面を広げ、空と雲を優しく映している。

ふと、草むらに動く影。なんと一匹の蛇が、のんびりと道端を横切っていく。 まるで、「この美しさは私たちだけのものじゃないよ」と言わんばかりに、自然の一部としてそこにいた。

五色沼は、五感を刺激する自然のキャンバス。 色を変える湖面、風にそよぐ葉、そして命の気配。ここを歩くことは、自然の声を聞くこと。写真以上の感動が、ここにはある。

We made a special trip—a 32km round drive—just for dinner at the highly recommended “Nikuryori Okata” in Ōshū City, and it was absolutely worth every kilometer.

The star of the evening was none other than Maesawa Beef (前沢牛)—a name often whispered with reverence alongside Japan’s top-tier wagyu like Matsusaka (松阪牛). Surprisingly, other legendary names like Hida, Kobe, and Yonezawa weren’t mentioned in the same breath here, but Maesawa beef certainly made a strong case for its elite status.

The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich in umami, and perfectly marbled. We couldn’t resist ordering a second dish—Kuroge Wagyu (黒毛和牛)—which was similarly priced and equally delicious. Both cuts left us genuinely impressed.

After that we went off the wagyu path and chose the pork… a bold move at a meat specialist restaurant, but even that was impressively juicy and well-prepared.

If you find yourself anywhere near Ōshū, Nikuryori Okata is a must-visit for meat lovers. A true hidden gem for a premium wagyu experience—no regrets, only satisfaction.

我们专程驱车——来回32公里——只为在奥州市备受推荐的**「肉料理おか田」（Nikuryori Okata）**享用一顿晚餐，而这趟旅程的每一公里都值得。

当晚的主角，正是大名鼎鼎的前泽牛（Maesawa Beef）——这个名字经常与日本顶级和牛如松阪牛（Matsusaka）齐名，令人敬仰。令人惊讶的是，像飞驒牛（Hida）、神户牛（Kobe）、**米泽牛（Yonezawa）**等其他著名品牌并未被提及，但前泽牛确实凭实力展现了它的顶级地位。

饭后，我们大胆“跳脱和牛轨道”，点了一份猪肉——在专营牛肉的餐厅里是个大胆选择，但这份猪肉也同样多汁鲜嫩，烹调得相当出色。

如果你有机会来到奥州市，**「肉料理おか田」**绝对是肉食爱好者不可错过的一家宝藏餐厅。一场真正高水准的和牛盛宴——无怨无悔，只有满满的满足。

私たちはわざわざ往復32キロのドライブをして、奥州市で高評価を受けている**「肉料理おか田」**へ夕食を食べに行きましたが、その距離は一切無駄ではありませんでした。

この夜の主役は、言わずと知れた前沢牛（まえさわぎゅう）。日本の最高級和牛である**松阪牛（まつさかぎゅう）**と並び称される存在です。意外なことに、飛騨牛、神戸牛、米沢牛といった他の名高い和牛ブランドの名前はあまり聞かれませんでしたが、前沢牛はその実力で堂々たる存在感を放っていました。

その肉質はとろけるように柔らかく、旨味が濃く、霜降りのバランスも絶妙。私たちは思わずもう一品、同じくらいの価格帯の黒毛和牛を追加注文してしまいましたが、これもまた絶品で、両方とも大満足でした。

その後、和牛から一転して豚肉料理を注文——牛肉専門店での挑戦的な選択でしたが、それすらもジューシーで丁寧に調理されており、驚くほど美味しかったです。

もし奥州市の近くを訪れることがあれば、**「肉料理おか田」**は肉好きにとって絶対に外せない名店です。極上和牛を味わえる本物の隠れた名店——後悔は一切なし、あるのはただ満足のみ。
