Hanami (花見) means flower viewing, and in Japan it usually refers to cherry blossom viewing with friends or family, relaxing, taking photos, and sometimes having food under the trees.
It’s a very special spring tradition.

Ueno Park — one of the most famous sakura spots in Japan. During sakura season, the park gets very lively with people, street food, and evening lights called yozakura (night cherry blossoms).
