I’m in Chicago in transition to my next flight. I’ve spent the past 10 days in Türkiye 🇹🇷 and England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 empowering believers to live ENVIADO (SENT) in places where the vast majority need the gospel. And yes, I said England.

Coaching believers is an incredible ministry, especially when it’s about ending gospel deprivation.

I often hear people say, “If God wants me to do or have it, He’ll provide the means.” Yet so many pray, sit, and wait—doing absolutely nothing to look for what they’re asking God to provide.

My thought?

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” — Matthew 6:26

But have you ever seen a bird just sit in its nest waiting for God to drop food into its mouth? Of course not. Birds fly, they soar, and they search for what God has already provided. Then they act—they grab it and eat.

God provides the worms; the birds don’t create them. But if the bird never looks, never moves, never reaches out—it starves.

As believers, we should pray for God’s provision, yes—but we must also open our eyes and put our faith into motion. Because faith without works is dead (James 2:17).
