Our first shrine visit.
The first shrine visit in Japan is called Hatsumode (初詣), a New Year's tradition where people visit Shinto shrines or Buddhist temples during the first few days of January to pray for health,happiness,and success in the coming year,often involving buying charms (omamori), getting fortunes (omikuji), and making offerings.It's a festive time with food stalls and traditional attire like kimonos,marking a fresh start to the year.
