‎On this Jamhuri Day, Baringo County Chief Officer for Agriculture Dr. Milkah Toromo made a surprise visit to Sacho High School grounds, where Koyorus FC (Savannah Warriors) played a friendly match against Kaplop FC (USA).
‎
‎She urged the youth to use the December holiday wisely by staying active in sports and keeping off alcohol, drugs, and other harmful habits. Dr. Toromo said she was impressed by the talent and discipline displayed, noting that with proper support, these players can one day fly the Kenyan flag on bigger stages.

‎She presented the team with new jerseys and promised to return soon to assist them further including helping them with playing boots.

‎She encouraged the youth to stay focused, work hard, and believe in their potential.

What a thrilling and electrifying match! We turned the tables on our opponents in the second leg of our friendly, handing them a resounding 4-0 humbling after they edged us 1-0 in the first leg.

The first half was tough; we started slowly and found ourselves trailing 2-0. But when the second half kicked off, we unleashed the true Savannah Warriors’ spirit. The boys lit up the field with breathtaking moves, precise passes, and unstoppable shots, netting four magnificent goals that left the crowd in awe.
A huge Asante sana to our amazing fans, the Football Kenya Federation (Baringo Chapter), and everyone who continues to cheer us on. Your support and encouragement fuel our journey. Step by step, we grow stronger and better, one match at a time.
