In a related development, Martha Karua has rebranded her Narc-Kenya party to the People’s Liberation Party of Kenya.

Meanwhile, Riggy G’s party is undergoing a rebranding process, aligning with the microphone symbol. The proposed slogan? Sauti ya Wananchi.

To kickstart the party's popularity, founding members have been tasked with raising Shs. 40 Million. This will be used to energize and refund costs to supporters in rallies across Nyeri, Muranga, Kirinyaga, Nakuru, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nairobi, and Kiambu.

Interestingly, the funds won’t be distributed in Mt. Kenya East to avoid branding the party as wealthy in the region.

However, the high financial demands have already seen some of the founding members exit.

Danstan Omari: Nairobi needs a solid person to be a senator. Sifuna is a solid person, but there's politics of Nairobi like this; In 2013, the first elections under the new constitution, Kidero was the governor, Sonko became the senator.
In 2017, Sonko became the governor, Sakaja became the senator, in 2022, Sakaja became the governor, and Sifuna became the senator.

This excavator costs Kshs 19M. It can open up roads, dig trenches to drain swamps, dig dams for water and clear forests for cultivation. It is cheaper than the land cruisers which all your MPs and CSs have, which cost between Kshs 27 to 40M. Are you seeing where problem is?
