The Arrival of the body of the Late. Rev. Rebecca Nyibol Deng-Thuch Garang, beloved wife of the late Elijah Malok Aleng Mayen, at St. Peter’s Parish for prayers,

Family, Church and Public gathered at St Peter's Parish to honor her exceptional service to the Church and the entire community.

After the prayers, she will be laid to rest at her residence in Skyline, Sherikat.

The body of the late Panan Abuoi Amol Kuir, fondly known as Abuoi-Mangok, was received today at St. Peter Parish for prayers and final blessings.

The late Abuoi-Mangok, who passed away on 2nd August 2025, was a remarkable figure, a gifted artist whose voice echoed through the hearts of the Awulian Community and all Junubin. Beyond his musical talents, he was a brave son of South Sudan, a man who stood tall during the liberation struggle under the SPLA/M movement.

His love for his people and dedication to uplifting the community through song and spirit will remain etched in our memories. His energy, courage, and compassion were unmatched and his legacy will continue to inspire generations.

The late Abuoi-Mangok will be laid to rest at his residence in Sudken, Juba.

JOINT OPERATION OF SECTOR SIX , Police and in support of Community Capture Suspected Witchcraft and Criminals in Gumbo SHIRIKAT

In a joint operation between the South Sudan National Police, others security organs and the Gumbo Shirikat Youth Association, led by Athiei Diing Awuol, several individuals suspected of engaging in witchcraft and criminal activities were apprehended in the Gumbo area.

The operation was led by Brigadier General Mabior Garang (Adhiok) of the South Sudan Police, who collaborated closely with local community leaders and youth groups to ensure the success of the crackdown

Authorities praised the efforts of the community and youth association for their active role in enhancing security and maintaining law and order. Investigations into the suspects' activities are ongoing.
