Gabriel Simiyu, is a renowned radio presenter in kenya. His journey to becoming one of Kenya’s top presenters is a story of passion, resilience, and hard work.
Gabriel Simiyu's love for radio began in high school, where he excelled in English and Kiswahili. Encouraged by her English teacher madam Linda Gloria togather with Kiswahili teacher Linnette Mulaa he pursued a course in mass communication, determined to make a name for himself in the industry. However, the road to success was not smooth. While in search of internship at Radio Simba he faced language barriers that made it difficult for him to thrive. He later moved to CGN radio in Bungoma , where he discovered a deep love for gospel music, a genre that would define his career.
In 2023,he joined Balozi television ke as a News anchor,voice over artist as well as Breakfast show host responsible for News anchoring,scheduling commercials and managing programming logistics. After several months of learning and proving himself, he was given an opportunity to co-host The breakfasts show together with Prince Sila This was his big break, and he quickly became a fan favorite, winning viewers over with his vibrant personality, humor, and deep knowledge of Gospel music.
In the year 2024 as from January Gabriel Simiyu joined Sasa Radio as a Sport presenter coho-sting Kanali Timu Munoko,later He was moved from sports show to a gospel show making a great impact by changing the lives of many listeners whom at a time Called him pastor,bishop and apostle.While at sasa radio Simiyu also anchored news both on radio and Tv Magharibi again on month of September Simiyu joined Khendo fm 107.9 where he worked as News reporter and show presenter coho-sting Baabukha Party with Nekesa khalayi
