Groundbreaking ceremony for Modern Busia Stadium and inspection of Bumala Modern Market by H.E William Samoei Ruto.

For those who doubted me earlier on the realisation of Modern Busia Stadium. Our dream will soon be a reality.

H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, CGH, President of the Republic of Kenya, will on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, launch Busia Stadium (ATC).

I can confirm and reaffirm that, H.E. Dr. William Ruto will launch the Stadium on scheduled development tour in Busia County.

The tour features the groundbreaking ceremony for a modern 10,000-seater Busia Stadium in the border town.

The Head of State will inspect and launch several key development projects across the County, including the construction of Roads, Markets, and Student hostels.

President H.E. Ruto together with Governor H.E. Otuoma will also inspect Bumala Modern Market on his development tour.

These transformative developments have been made possible through Busia County Government strategic collaboration with the National Government.

We the people of Marachi West Ward sincerely thank the President for initiating Bumala Modern Market project which is on completion, and poised to be an economic hub in Busia.

Development is our business and the only language understood by Wananchi.
