Nasser bin Radan Al-Rashid Al-Wada‘i, Saudi Arabia’s oldest man, has passed away at the remarkable age of 142. Born in 1884, he lived through an era of incredible change, witnessing the transformation of Saudi Arabia from a desert kingdom into a modern nation. His long life made him one of the oldest men ever recorded in history.
He had a large and extended family, with 7 wives and a total of 134 children and grandchildren. Known for his unique personal life, he last married at the age of 110 to a 29-year-old woman and reportedly wished to marry again at the age of 130, showing his enduring energy and vitality even in extreme old age.
Throughout his life, Nasser was admired in his community for his longevity and the legacy he left behind. His life spanned three centuries, and he became a symbol of resilience and the traditional family values of his culture.
