Truth Unfolds on Alleged Plot Against DP Kithure Kindiki
Fresh details are emerging over allegations that Tharaka Nithi Senator and Woman Representative had a hand in orchestrating the circulation of videos and photos showing muddy classrooms in Tharaka, allegedly to tarnish the image of Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
The matter took a twist when the Senator visited Kieranthi Primary School one of the institutions that had featured in the viral footage. Instead of addressing the broader infrastructural concerns, he reportedly focused on public relations activities, promising to roof only one nearly-complete classroom.
During the visit, the Senator conveyed greetings from the Woman Representative, with whom he has been accused of collaborating in the controversial exposure of the schools’ conditions.
In his address, the Senator turned his criticism toward education officials, accusing them of negligence.
“The directors of education are always in suits in Gatanga offices, but they don’t know what is happening in the schools, and they don’t give proper reports to the Ministry,” he said.
These remarks have sparked further debate, as residents question whether the alleged plot was politically motivated or a genuine attempt to highlight poor learning conditions.
