This is how we make our dairy meal.

It's formulated in such a way that:

✅️ Our 40L cow needs only 9kgs.

✅️ It's ideal for all classes of cows, i.e. calves, heifers, dry cows & lactating cows. The same philosophy applied with Supaphos Kiwination.

✅️ The unit cost is a bit high, but the feeding cost is relatively low.
The purpose of this write-up is the white raw material. It's maize flour. We don't feed our cows maize germ we mill clean maize. The formulation is 40% maize flour.

To us, maize is King. That's why it dominates the formulation as well as the fodder, since the crop we harvest for silage must have 2-3 maize cobs at dough stage.

A dairy farm is like a Kingdom, and there is no Kingdom without a King. Anytime there's a leadership vacuum in a Kingdom, so many self-created kings emerge, but none is able to govern.

On most of our farms, there are tens of kings, each controlling only a small section of the Kingdom. That's why the Kingdom performs poorly in milk production, fertility, growth, immunity, etc.

Have in place a substantive and legitimate King, and enjoy the productivity, sustainability and profits from the Kingdom.

We have consistently said that our dairy farming philosophy is to keep it simple and precise. Sometimes we substitute "precise" with "lazy." A lazy farmer puts in place systems, knows what the cows need, delivers it, and milks profits.

Who is the King of your Kingdom?

1. Prepares the digestive system for the high feed intake needed after calving.
2. Increases milk production after calving by supplying extra nutrients before lactation begins.
3. Helps prevent metabolic disorders, particularly ketosis and milk fever, when properly managed.
4. Maintains body condition and prevents excessive weight loss around calving.
5. Supports growth of the calf during the final weeks of pregnancy.
6. Improves rumen adaptation to the more energy-dense diet used during early lactation.
7. Supports udder development and prepares the cow for lactation.
