NEWS UPDATE :
A demand letter from Ushuru Sacco dated 9 October 2025 has brought renewed scrutiny to the financial conduct of former FKF CEO Harold Ndege, raising concerns about unresolved obligations linked to his tenure.

The letter suggests that there are outstanding financial issues that were not conclusively addressed before or after his exit from office.

It indicates that a KSh 1.2 million loan allegedly taken by Ndege fell into default, prompting the Sacco to pursue his guarantors for recovery. This situation is particularly troubling given that Ndege was earning a regular salary and substantial allowances while serving as the chief executive of the Football Kenya Federation.

The matter has reignited broader questions about personal responsibility, integrity, and character, especially for someone entrusted with leadership at Kenya’s top football body. Reports that some guarantors are facing surcharges while Ndege failed to keep the loan account up to date have deepened public unease.

These revelations come shortly after his dismissal by the FKF NEC, reportedly over incompetence and alleged misconduct, adding further weight to concerns about his accountability.

Taken together, the developments raise serious doubts about Ndege’s leadership credentials and the standards that were upheld during his tenure at the federation.

UPDATE:
STANDARD Newspaper reports that Confusion continues to rock the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party.

It has now emerged that Party Leader Oburu Oginga, Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna and other officials may not be reading from the same page.

The Secretary General has chosen to air internal party affairs through media interviews, turning what should be structured, internal dialogue into public commentary.

In response, the Party Leader addresses these issues through formal press conferences, while other party officials take the discussion to funerals and political rallies, blurring the line between party business and public gatherings.

Kenyans & its supporters are now left Wondering how a party that's over 20 years old with clear structures—NGC, NEC, NDC, and other organs— isn't mature enough to handle its affairs in boardrooms, guided by its constitution, rules, and internal mechanisms.
