The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has approved the final design for the new Nithi Bridge, a Ksh7.5 billion project that will replace the existing hazardous layout along the busy Meru-Nairobi highway.

Director General Luka Kimeli inspected the final bridge design and proposed road alignment over the weekend before giving the contractor permission to begin preliminary works. The redesigned bridge is expected to reduce the risk of accidents that have claimed hundreds of lives over the years.

A petitioner has moved to the High Court seeking to halt the ongoing Nairobi CBD walkway upgrade project, alleging that the works are being carried out in breach of constitutional and procurement laws due to a lack of meaningful public participation.

The petition asks the court to suspend all cabro paving and related construction works pending the hearing and determination of the case, arguing that the project should not proceed until its legality and compliance with statutory requirements have been established.

Don't ask me where the petitioner comes from,. your guess is as good as mine 😎

Apart from scorlling a D+ in KCSE, The other reason why I couldn’t survive in the corporate field is because of how much pretending you have to do,to look busy. Hawa watu ya office unajua hakuna kitu wanafanyanga ata mkiona wanaangalia computer siku mzima,infact inmost offices kazi huwa inaisha saa nne,lakini lazima ukae mpaka jioni. A very big percentage of corporate employees just fake being productive.

The only ones who dont fake are those in government offices. Huko ata kuna siku hakunanga kazi ya kufanya,kwanza pale ministry of agriculture,kazi ya hiyo wamama hukua hapo ni kukunywa chai na bisquit wakiscroll tinder wakitafuta vijana barubaru.
