Senator Joe Nyutu Tells Raila to Retire from Politics

Murang’a Senator Joe Nyutu has dismissed Raila Odinga’s political influence, saying the ODM leader is too old for active politics.

“Hakuna kura Raila anaweza tafutia mtu sahii. Huyo mzee amezeeka, anapaswa kuwa anachemshiwa ngwaci asubuhi akicheza na wajukuu wake,” Nyutu said.

He added that Raila cannot help anyone win elections since President Ruto already defeated him.

NEWS UPDATE: Three suspects have been released on a Ksh 100,000 bond each after pleading not guilty to the murder of 17-year-old refugee girl Gaala Adan in Wajir County on March 22, 2025.

Appearing before Justice John Onyiego at the Garissa High Court, the prosecution listed six witnesses to testify against the accused, Mohammed Kassim Tiffow (the deceased’s husband), M***a Sheikh Ahmed, and Adan Mohamme Ahmed.

The witnesses include the deceased’s mother, Amina Abdi Noor; her stepfather, Mahamud Mohamed; landlady, Qurisha Ibrahim; two neighbours; and Corporal Lucas Musambi, the investigating officer.
