Katibu Mkuu wa Mazingira Gatuzi la Nairobi, Geoffrey Mosiria has finally come to the aid of the man who built a house on top of a tree along Jogoo Road, where he had been living with his wife.

Mosiria revealed that he has bought the man a mkokoteni to support his daily work of keeping the environment clean and will further assist him in registering a Community-Based Organization (CBO) with his friends, to create a sustainable source of income.

In addition, Mosiria pledged to secure him a better house around Jogoo Road and pay three months’ rent in advance, giving him enough time to reorganize his life and get back on his feet. 🙌

🚨 Nyamakoroto Tragedy – Suspect Arrested 🚨

At last, a major breakthrough in the heartbreaking case that shook Nyamakoroto, Kitutu Masaba. Four innocent lives a young mother, her child, and her loving parents were mercilessly consumed in a raging fire that left the entire community shattered. 💔

Today, the truth began to unfold. According to reports by Abuga Makori, detectives have finally arrested the prime suspect, identified as Benson Nyongela Maeka, in Kibra, Nairobi. Shockingly, Benson is the husband of the late Maryanne Makini, one of the victims of the inferno.

Investigations paint a chilling picture:

🔹 The fire is believed to have been planned in Kaplong, where Benson lived with Maryanne before their bitter fallout.

🔹 Witnesses claim he was spotted withdrawing money, buying petrol in a jerrycan, and disposing of household belongings just days before the attack.

🔹 To add to the horror, he allegedly misled relatives by claiming he had traveled back to Ukambani, while in reality he was plotting a crime that would erase an entire family.

Even more haunting is the fact that the victims still lie unburied due to financial struggles their lives stolen, their dignity hanging in limbo.

The arrest offers a glimmer of hope, but it cannot erase the unimaginable pain. An entire bloodline wiped out… a daughter who never made it to Kisii University… a child with a future stolen… parents who perished in their own home.

This is not just a crime. It is pure evil. And justice must speak loudly for Maryanne, her little angel, and her parents.
