PROGRESS UPDATE | KHWISERO EDUCATION SUPPORT INITIATIVE

The School Food Distribution Programme across Khwisero Constituency officially commenced last week and continues to record steady progress. To date, the initiative has reached six (6) schools, with additional institutions scheduled in the coming weeks.

As the programme progresses, a second phase of the initiative is being prepared to further enhance learner welfare. This phase will focus on:

Provision of sanitary towels for vulnerable girls.

Distribution of essential undergarments for boys.

Supply of footwear to learners in lower primary.

Hon. Renja Erambo remains committed to advancing an education agenda anchored on:

Quality education for every learner in Khwisero Constituency.

The full realization of genuinely free primary and day secondary education.

Improved motivation and welfare for both teaching and non-teaching staff.

Holistic learner support through targeted interventions that address both academic and social needs.

💔💔 ANOTHER BRUTAL KILLING!!

IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART WE RECEIVED THE SUDDEN DEMISE OF A MAN WITH A GOOD HEART MR. BENARD BWONYA ALLIAS ANYOLE FROM MUYENGA AREA...

He was serving as a bodaboda rider in Matioli sub-location, Bukura location, Butsotso South ward of kakamega county.

This morning of 30th June 2026, Anyole's life was cut short by unknown people at Mulufu area along Matioli muyenga murram road. He was attacked and sustained deep cuts including the forehead and other parts of the body. His motorbike with registration number KMFE 138 H and his phone were taken.

The incident took place at around 5-6 am. The matter has been reported to Matioli police post including the area ass-chief.

The public is urged to remain calm as further investigation is done in order to find justice. Further updates coming soon as we expect to hear from the family.

"Kenyans are fed up. Trust in both the National and County Governments is fading fast because of unfulfilled promises, rising unemployment, high fuel prices, and businesses shutting down left, right, and centre.

The cost of living is mad right now, but most MPs are either quiet or completely out of touch with what ordinary wananchi are going through. People are losing hope.

The writing is on the wall heading into 2027. A lot of current leaders could genuinely be packing their bags because voters are tired of excuses, PR politics, and leaders who only show up during campaigns.

Right now, it’s getting harder and harder to even defend some of our leaders when the streets are this frustrated.
