The Embu Edition of Wezesha Mama, Inua Jamii was a powerful convergence of voices united against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the alarming surge in femicide. Graciously hosted byHon.Pamela Njoki Njeru -Double N , the sensitization forum drew women leaders from across the country, all standing in solidarity for safer communities.

Proudly rallied by my fellow trailblazers to amplify our collective call to action. I reiterated the urgent need for leaders to become defenders of dignity, promoters of peace, and guardians of justice,especially for the women and girls in our marginalized counties.

BREAKING: A pharmacist at Lodwar County Referral Hospital(LCRH) was today nabbed for allegedly stealing vital drugs.

The matter was brought to the attention of the governor, who immediately ordered an investigation. Preliminary findings have confirmed the allegations, and preparations for her arrest are currently underway.

This incident comes at a time when the hospital has seen significant service improvements under the new board and acting CEO. The facility is reportedly undergoing a transformation, with the process now under close watch by the governor himself.

Developing Story: Suspected Pokot bandits from Tiaty Constituency launched a raid attempt on Napeitom village unit earlier this morning. Fortunately, the swift and coordinated response by the National Police Reservists (NPR) successfully repelled the attackers before they could steal any livestock.

During the confrontation, one resident identified as Ekirima sustained injuries.

Reports from the ground indicate that the bandits have since laid an ambush around the village, effectively paralyzing the movement of both residents and livestock
