CHEPKOKOGH -ROLE MODEL IN ENDING FGM
In conjunction with I_Rep foundation area chief of Chepkokogh (Mr Salim) yesterday testified to the I_Rep team and the residents of the zero tolerance to FGM cases as from last year as a result of campaign by the steering committee in unison with I_Rep team . Yesterday this was clear as the residents spoke in one voice that only their neighbours (Mosop) residents are the only people who still awareness and continuous empowerment to end this cultural practice.The residents together with the chiefs said that whoever who will still be got practising the menace (FGM) will face the consequences of the laws and will be held accountable.The parents and their victims will still face the same .The residents requested for a social amenities and empowerment programs like Youth Empowerment programs to curb permissiveness and influence from their friends.The notion of ''probox Nyeusi '' has been the warning to the perpetrators and the victims.Chepkokogh location especially Sukuk and annet have seen tremendous progress and we believe that this will be seen in the upper part of the location.Unity is strength indeed . Men, Women and Youth have agreed to be soldiers in ending FGM.Together let's stand firm and support us in ending FGM by emulating Chepkokogh people (Sukuk and Annet sub-locations)

The Man of The Moment!!
KTN journalist Eric Latiff is currently trending following President Ruto's interview on the state of the country.Latiff has earned praises due to his bravery in asking Ruto tough questions.

During the interview he courageously asked Ruto when he will stop lying to Kenyans. According to him, most Kenyans associate the president with lies. He went ahead to cite Ruto's famous quotes 'tutafanya', 'tumeweka mikakati', 'tumetenga' and so on. As expected Mtukufu lies cleverly escaped this question.

But who is Eric Lattif? Eric is a renowned journalist with a wealth of experience.He has been in the media industry for more than 20 years working in radio,TV and various digital space.

The seasoned journalist studied at Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC).He completed his studies and became a telecommunications engineer.He joined Standard Media Group in 2006 where he was employed as prime time news anchor in KTN.

In KTN Eric Latiff honed his skills and with no time he rose to become a senior news anchor in the station.He started sub-editing news casts, conducting both live and recorded interviews, designing and implementing new programs in KTN.

In 2019, The Standard Media Group launched Spice FM. Eric Lattif was lucky to be employed as one of three hosts in the morning show.He hosts a show dubbed as 'the situation room' at the radio station.

Eric Lattif also earned praises and recognition in 2022 after participating in the presidential debate alongside Yvonne Okwara.He didn't hesitate to ask hard-hitting questions which left the presidential candidates sweating
