The scrutiny focused on issues like high system losses—previously reported at 22.44% in FY 2021/22 and 23% in FY 2022/23, well above the industry standard of 16%—and their impact on electricity costs for consumers.

Kapenguria, West Pokot County – Tomorrow, Kapenguria will lay to rest Hon. William Kanyongu Sindano, former 3rd MP who served from 1985 to 1988, at his home in Kapenguria .
Sindano, who died this year at 81, was honored with a service at ACK Kapenguria and a night Virgil tonight. Born in 1944, he took office after the late Hon. Francis Polis Loile Lotodo’s 1985 jailing, leading the new constituency through a turbulent KANU era. Despite challenges, Sindano served with dedication.
West Pokot extends condolences to his family, uniting to celebrate a son of our soil.

Makutano--This evening, a military truck carrying officers lost control and rammed into a boda boda stage near Sunflower Academy along Makutano-Kacheliba Road. Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries were reported. A few motorbikes at the stage were damaged in the incident.
