*THE TRUTH ABOUT SALVATION| ARE YOU SAVED ALREADY?*
A Call to Righteousness in a Generation of Assumptions
All Scriptures from the word of Yahweh (Commonly referred to as The Bible)
[INTRODUCTION]
In many assemblies today, people confidently declare:
> âI am saved!â
But this phrase is often misunderstood.
It suggests that salvation is already possessed, finished, guaranteedâwhen in truth, Scripture reveals otherwise.
Letâs open our hearts and minds to what the Word truly says.
This is not about opinion or tradition, but about walking in truth, revering Yahweh, and waiting for the return of Yahshua.
[ WHAT IS SALVATION ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE? ]
Salvation (Hebrew: yeshuâah) is not just a one-time eventâ
Itâs the deliverance from sin, death, and the coming wrath of Yahweh, to be revealed at the return of Yahshua.
Example:
When Noah built the ark, was he "saved" the moment he believed?
No. He was declared righteous, obeyed Yahweh, endured mocking, and was saved after the flood had come and gone.
This shows: Faith initiates the journey, obedience maintains it, and salvation concludes it.
[INHERITING SALVATION â A FUTURE REALITY]
âAre they not all serving spirits who are sent out to attend those who are about to inherit deliverance?â
â Iáž`rim / Hebrews 1:14
This verse is crystal clear.
Salvation is an inheritance, not a possession.
You donât inherit something until the appointed time and conditions are met.
Example:
A prince does not rule the kingdom until the appointed day, even if he is heir.
He must be trained, tested, and proven faithful.
[SALVATION IS KEPT IN THE SHAMAYIM â RESERVED FOR THE END]
â...who are protected by the power of Elohim through belief, for a deliverance ready to be revealed in the last time.â
â KÄpha Aleph / 1 Peter 1:5
Deliverance is something to be revealedânot something already in our hands.
If Yahweh is guarding it, how can we claim we already have it?
Let us walk humbly and with awe.
[ BELIEF IS THE ENTRANCE â NOT THE DESTINATION]
âFor by favour you have been saved through belief, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Elohim...â
â Ephâsiyim / Ephesians 2:8
Yes, salvation is by favour. But notice:
It's through belief
Itâs a giftânot a trophy to claim prematurely
And we are told to walk in the good works prepared for us (Eph. 2:10)
We are not finished at beliefâwe are just beginning.
**Israel left Mitsrayim, but many perished in the wilderness before reaching the Promised Land. So too, belief alone will not carry us to the Kingdom without obedience and endurance.
[ENDURE TO BE SAVED]
âBut he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.â
â Mattithyahu / Matthew 24:13
This was spoken by Yahshua to His taught onesânot unbelievers.
Salvation is for those who endure trials, overcome temptations, and remain steadfast.
Example:
You canât celebrate finishing a race at the starting line.
No one gets the prize unless they reach the end.
[WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING]
â...work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling.â
â Philippians 2:12
Why fear and trembling?
Because weâre dealing with eternal life, and Yahweh is qodesh (set-apart).
Heâs not looking for lip serviceâHeâs looking for fruit.
[FALSE ASSURANCE IS SPIRITUALLY DEADLY]
âMany shall say to Me in that day, âMaster, Master...â and I shall declare to them, âI never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!ââ
â Mattithyahu / Matthew 7:22-23
These people believed. They even called Him âMaster.â
But Yahshua rejected them because they lived without Torah.
Claiming to be âsavedâ while rejecting Yahwehâs commands is deception.
Example:
A student cannot say âI passed the examâ while still skipping classes and failing tests.
[THE HOPE OF SALVATION IS NEAR â DONâT QUIT NOW]
âAnd do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for us to wake up from sleep, for now our deliverance is nearer than when we did believe.â
â Romiyim / Romans 13:11
We are closer to the return of Yahshua than ever before.
Will He find us asleep, satisfied with empty claims?
Or will He find us awake, dressed in righteousness, and burning with the light of obedience?
[ SALVATION IS A PROMISE â NOT A PAST EVENT]
â...I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have guarded the belief. For the rest, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness...â
â Timotiyos BÄt / 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Shaâul didnât say, âI was saved long ago.â
He spoke of enduring to the finish, with a crown waiting for him.
Let us speak likewise: not boasting in false confidence, but clinging to the promise.
[STOP SAYING âI AM SAVEDâ]
What should believers say?
> âI believe in Yahshua haâMashiaáž„. I walk in His commands. I am waiting for the promised deliverance. I am pressing on toward the crown.â
This is humility. This is truth. This is reverence.
Let the proud say âI am saved,â
But let the wise say,
> âI am a believer, watching, waiting, obeyingâuntil Yahshua returns.â
[CALL TO ACTION: WAKE UP, CLEAN UP, STAND UP]
Stop walking in assumptions.
Start walking in truth and obedience.
Return to the Torah.
Reject lukewarm religion.
Endure with boldness and love.
Yahshua is coming.
The Reign of Yahweh is at hand.
Let us be found ready, not just claiming to be âsaved.â
