Billions of shillings are mysteriously disappearing through the E-Citizen platform, a digital system intended to simplify government payments, according to new findings by the Auditor General.

Our take;
The office of the Auditor General should be empowered to prosecutor graft cases in Government Enterprises/Institutions.
You can't be highlighting Irregularities and Illegalities and then stop and than point.

The office seems to be in a better position to curb the corruption cases in Government Institution..

It's time we think about it.

We (Kenyan)deserve better.

What the Auditor General found ;

Irregularities and Illegalities:

✓ How did the MP and his office {Constituency committee} find it necessary to a ward a contractor a project worthy Kes 60,000,000 without a formal contract agreement .

✓ The MP and his office didn't find necessary to Insure the Constituency Assets worthy Kes 23,298,884. Yet it is a mandatory requirements to do soo.

✓ It's a mandatory requirement for the MPs office to account, deposit receipt and statement of any procured services or goods but they failed to support some of the payment that were made .

✓ Even after the Auditor General raised some questions from the previous FY report the Office didn't find it necessary to respond the queries.
