Resilient communities are not built by chance—they are built when young people choose to lead, serve, and create hope where it's needed most.
I'm truly honoured to be selected as part of the 2026 Resilience Fellowship with The Resilience Project, joining an inspiring community of changemakers from across East Africa committed to strengthening resilience and driving meaningful impact.
I'm also grateful to be on this journey alongside my fellow Kenyan, Regina, as we learn, grow, and collaborate with an incredible cohort dedicated to creating positive change.
My journey has been shaped by the classroom, community spaces, and the environment. As an educator, youth leader, climate action advocate, mental health champion, and community development practitioner, I've learned that resilience begins with people. Whether it's empowering young people through education, advancing climate action, or promoting mental wellbeing, lasting change happens when we create opportunities, build trust, and support one another.
