Ending GBV starts with protecting her rights and amplifying her voice.

Every girl deserves safety, the freedom to be heard, and the ability to pursue her dreams without fear.

As a community, we must stand up, speak out, and create spaces where girls are empowered to rise.

“When she is safe, she is powerful. When she is empowered, we all rise.”

Adapting violence against women (VAW) prevention programmes across different contexts and geographies is a journey, and very rarely linear.

Through our work with practitioners, activists, researchers, and funders, we’ve learned how adaptation involves rethinking how we deliver programmes, engage with partners and communities, whilst navigating power, time, and quality — often at the same time.

Adaptation Journeys brings together real-world experiences of VAW prevention programmes adapted across different settings, documenting how adaptation actually unfolded, what had to change, what needed protecting, and what teams learned along the way.

Rather than presenting adaptation as a checklist, this accessible resource reflects adaptation as a process shaped by context, relationships, and practice.

Public participation on the Draft National Volunteerism Policy 2026 showed one thing: youth are driving change, but policies must empower, not just exist.
Volunteering is more than contribution ;it’s skills, growth, and opportunity. Youth must be actively involved to shape policies that create real impact.

It’s time to stop the whispers. Disability is not a curse, a mystery, or a punishment. It has clear medical and environmental causes, ranging from illness to accidents.

When we replace outdated myths with scientific truth, we replace stigma with RESPECT. Let’s educate Kilifi together.
