Africa has a long, painful history of leaders who rise promising hope — only to unleash terror on their own people once in power.
They speak of freedom, justice, and the people during campaigns — but rule with bullets, blood, and terror.
For example
William Ruto (Kenya, 2022– )

Popularly elected in 2022 , Ruto’s presidency rapidly descended into authoritarianism in two short years

His rule has been marked by state violence including alleged abductions, torture, police executions, and ruthless repression of dissent.

Hundreds of young Gen Z protestors have been killed by police under his watch.

Peaceful demonstrators are being met with lethal brutality — abducted, tortured, and disappeared.

He has weaponized the security forces against the very citizens he and they all swore to protect.

Freedom of expression is under siege, with journalists, activists and civilians increasingly being targeted by police and suspected state-sponsored goons .

He has captured all independent institutions including the police, the military, parliament and even the judiciary.

He may not have ruled long — but the bloodshed, brutality, and disregard for life already places him among Africa’s most dangerous heads of state.

If unchecked, his legacy may rival history’s worst

Why you? Let me remind you.

You have looted this country dry. You have killed our children like a sociopath. You have sold our youth into modern-day slavery. You have fattened your loyal cronies while the rest of the country starves.

You’ve used millions of taxes to renovate a perfectly fine house — a house that belongs to the people, not you.

You are spending billions to build a shiny church, pretending you can bribe God, while Kenyans sleep hungry on the streets you ride past in armored cars.

You dare stand there, after thirty-one fresh graves, and act like you are the victim?

Shut up.

You are worse than Kenyatta and Moi combined. At least they didn’t pretend to be saints while stealing our future.

THE DRAMA CONTINUES!!

Word on the timeline is that Central Police Station OCS Samson Talaam might just be telling the gospel truth after all, at least according to what he served IPOA. Apparently, the man wasn’t anywhere near the station the night Albert Ojwang took a one way ticket to Sayuni. Talaam had clocked out of duty and into Kabunde Pub at Wilson Airport a.k.a “the Yamune S***m and Gomorrah pub” for off-duty mingling.

He wasn’t alone either. He was in the fine company of one Mercy, a damsel allegedly moonlighting at KRA and full-timing in Talaam’s heart. Sources say she’s been his “close working partner” for quite some time in matters horizontal engineering.

According to reports, Talaam clocked out at 8 PM sharp, jumped into civilian mode, and headed straight to Kabunde like a man on a government mission. Around 9:30 PM, he got a call from someone calling himself Sigei, saying a suspect had been brought in. Talaam, sipping his second round, casually informed the caller that the station was now under the stewardship of his deputy, one Ng’ang’a!

At 3 AM, Talaam gets another call. This time from Deputy Ng’ang’a, who mumbled something along the lines of, “ Yamune, they have prematurely sent Ojwang to sayuni.” That’s when Talaam allegedly left the pub in a panic, dropped off Mercy (who probably still had Kiss condoms in her handbag), and dashed back to the station.

Talaam is refusing to be the fall guy. He’s not boarding that sacrificial lamb Express driven by DIG Lagat. And he’s not just talking, he’s bringing CCTV receipts from Kabunde. Sources say the footage will clearly show him doing absolutely nothing remotely apart from sampling Mercy's food that faces the earth all night, unless nyash spanking & tirries sucking counts as official duty.

So now, Kenyans are waiting for those CCTV clips like it’s the Season Finale of Crime & Passion: Nairobi Edition. This plot has more twists than a KRA audit from machakos county.

If an elected leader can be abducted, tortured, and dumped with no explanation, why should we believe that worse did not happen to the GenZ?

Let us not sugarcoat it: we are now in a country where daring to oppose the regime feels like a death sentence. A country where state agencies have become weapons in a calculated operation to intimidate and silence.

Opposition leaders must now retreat and unite - not for power and elections, but for protection and existence. We must speak boldly now or prepare to live forever on our knees. The proposed 7 years will turn out to be 70!

Fuel is expensive in Kenya because of taxes.

For a litre of fuel, Ksh 80 goes to taxes while the actual cost is Ksh 77.

The Tax is higher than the actual price.

This is the Awasi-Katito Road, which is supposed to be maintained using NGCDF funds but our MP Jared Okello of Nyando sub county is currently in Nairobi singing the bread base government and misappropriating our money. It's time to expose this man. ID Tupa Kware Dumpsite. Residents had to carry a dead body to the mortuary on foot since vehicles cannot access the road.

– Who abducted them?
– Under what law?
– Where were they held?
– Were they tortured?
– Who gave the orders?
– Who will face justice?
