Education is the key to a brighter future, yet many brighter needy students in Kimilili Ward are forced to stay home due to lack of school fees. John Wasilwa Musungu, 2027 incoming Kimilili Ward MCA, believes that bursaries must be distributed equally and fairly to reach the students who truly deserve a chance to learn.

He stands for transparency, accountability, and justice in the use of bursary funds ensuring that every shilling benefits the right child, not just a privileged few. With equal distribution, no brighter needy student should be left behind because of poverty.

Supporting John Wasilwa Musungu for MCA in 2027 is choosing a truthful leader, a youth for change, and the voice of fairness who will prioritize education as the foundation of equal development.

In a series of events Yesterday, John Wasilwa Musungu, our honorable incoming MCA for Kimilili Ward 2027, joined residents at Paspalum during a harambee in support of a family mourning the demise of their son. He passed his heartfelt condolences to the family, standing with them in their time of grief.

While addressing mourners, he spoke candidly about the poor state of roads in the area, reminding everyone that true leadership means not only sharing in moments of sorrow but also fighting for better living conditions for all.

With humility he said, ‘Nimesimama nanyi, nasema pole kwa familia, na pia nawaomba tushirikiane kubadilisha hali ya barabara zetu. Tukifanya kazi pamoja, Kimilili inaweza kuwa bora zaidi.’

THE RIVER AND THE SOURCE

One night in the smoky hut of Aketch the second wife of the great chief Odero Gogni of Yimbo, a baby was born . It was about thirty seasons before the great snaking metal road of "Jorochere" the white people reached the bartering market of Kisuma. The baby yelled so lastly that the chief strolling around as beffited by his position said " another rock for my sling" by which he meant another son . However for the first time he was wrong . This time he was a father of a daughter. He had graced himself by siring over 20 boys . Later he would be heard saying something of a turn about that " A home without a daughter is like a river without a source.
