MATISI TRANSFORMATION: PROMISES DELIVERED!

In 2019, during meetings held at Kiberenge, Matisi and Mukarani Church Grounds, Kipsongo, MCA Hon. Obed Mwale Mahanga assured residents that several key roads — St. John Road, Exodus Rural Road, Mavele Road, and Shanty Kipsongo Road — would be tarmacked through a grant secured in partnership with the World Bank.

At the time, many dismissed the announcement as unrealistic. But today, that promise stands fulfilled. Matisi Ward is now transformed — with modern, well-tarmacked roads and improved accessibility for all residents.

And the journey doesn’t stop there!
Hon. Obed has confirmed that Premium Road, Rafiki Road, and Referral Road are next in line for tarmacking come next year — continuing the steady march toward a better, more connected Matisi.

Matisi is indeed a better place to live, work, and grow.
