JUDITH BABIRYE, a woman in Jinja District shocked many people after she was found receiving high voltage horizontal engineering from two men in the same one-bedroom house and all of them sharing the same bed. The woman said she had started a relationship with Steven Orwenyi after being told that her former lover, Isaac Omondi, had died. However, Omondi later returned home alive and went back to live with her.
Instead of choosing one man, Judith asked both men to stay together peacefully in the same house. At first they agreed, but problems later started after Orwenyi became uncomfortable with sharing SABLENYA with another man. Judith also accused him of stealing and using abusive language, leading to the matter being reported to local leaders.
Village elders organized a meeting to solve the issue peacefully. Orwenyi asked to be compensated for the money he had spent during the relationship and requested transport money to return home. Residents helped raise part of the money, while Judith promised to pay the remaining balance within two months.

Some students who were interviewed said the girl was pregnant and was not able to cope with it. She was stressed and found it very difficult to disclose it to her parents because she feared they might dump her if they became aware of the incident. And so she did su***de. An autopsy on the body of Alice Riang’a, a second-year student at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Science, confirmed that she died from blunt force trauma to the head and was sexually assaulted before being killed. Alice, who had been missing since around May 6, 2026, was found dead in a thicket in Barkowino, Bondo town, on May 10. Police later arrested Tanzanian gold dealer Maximillian John Madeni, who is believed to have been her boyfriend, as investigations continue.
Anyway, after hearing about the death of Alice Riang’a, the boyfriend quickly posted on social media talking about how they had good moments together and how much he would miss her. He even said she could have at least prepared him for that unfortunate death, not knowing he would later become the first suspect after the girl was found murdered.
