Transitioning to adulthood comes with lots of changes that, if not handled well affects physical , emotional, social, and even intellectual growth of an individual, which may linger way longer in adulthood.

Personality develops across developmental stages, and if one is not helped to manage their identity, they pick and adapt to what the environment brings, sometimes negative aspects.

Sexual maturity comes with its demands and learning to manage the impacts of building a self-aware person

Self-esteem and confidence may be thwarted if one experiences shame and inability to own their self-worth - most cases realized during period stages and questioning of manhood changes.

Having a child who is enlightened about the changes happening in themselves goes a long way in preparing for healthy teenagehood.
