A high-level opposition breakfast meeting held in Nairobi today has set the tone for what could become a defining political battle ahead of the next polls.
As the United Alternative Government prepares to begin its Western Kenya tour tomorrow, Friday, June 12, key leaders met to strengthen unity and chart a common path toward political and economic transformation.
Among those present was Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, who engaged with DCP Party leaders and reaffirmed that Western Kenya stands firmly behind the growing national demand for change.
At the heart of the discussions was a commitment to rally behind a single presidential candidate for the August 10, 2027 General Election—a move leaders believe will strengthen the opposition's chances of success.
The talks also complement the DCP Party's ongoing stakeholder consultations aimed at building grassroots consensus and a united national movement.
Governor Natembeya expressed confidence that Kenyans from all regions are increasingly speaking with one voice in their quest for better governance, economic opportunities, and national renewal.
