THREE MORE SOULS JOIN GOD'S KINGDOM

After a very wonderful and colourful Faith Interdenominational - Kitale Sunday School Church Service,Rev.Dr.Ptallah Butaki led the church congregants in a solemn ordinance of baptism followed by a Holy Communion service to welcome the new converts in the faith.

Three souls who had given their lives to Christ and had undergone a series of bible study classes, were baptized through water immersion as a public declaration of their newly found faith in God and the new journey they had begun in Christ Jesus.

The two solemn ordinances were witnessed by hundreds of people including the children who witnessed the whole event in awe and admiration.

A SPECIAL SUNDAY FOR THE FIC KIDS

The 7th of December Sunday was a very extraordinary service for the Faith Interdenominational Church - Kitale Sunday School kids who had had a whole week undergoing the Vacation Bible School classes under the theme"The Victorious Birth of Jesus Christ, "from Isaiah 9:6.

On this Sunday, led by their teachers who were guiding them in their respective classes,the children had special presentations for each group starting from the beginner class,middle class then the junior class children.This was an opportunity for them to proof to their parents that they had indeed increased in wisdom and knowledge in the things of God.

After the presentations,Rev.Brenda Juma who was also teaching the junior youth class,brought forth the word of God while emphasizing on the theme,stating rea*ons why Jesus was born and why we should believe in Him for us to be saved and ultimately inherit eternal life,as clearly stated out in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

After the sermon,Rev.Ptallah Butaki ,who is also the lead Bishop of Faith Interdenominational churches,crowned the event by leading the graduation ceremony for the children who were graduating from beginner to middle class and from middle class to junior youth class.He went forth to award them certificates and a*o awarded certificates to those who attended the Vacation Bible School throughout the week.He also gave out presents and gifts to both teachers and the children for the good work.

FIC VBS DAY FOUR

Today being Day four of the Vacation Bible School for the Faith Interdenominational Church - Kitale children, everything ran perfectly well. From the morning devotion, to their various classes, and finally the afternoon session, orderliness and excitement for what they were continuing to learn was evident.

The topic for today was 'The shepherds Hear the Good News, 'from Luke 2:8-20 and the memory verse was from Luke 2:11 that states, 'Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'

Today, was a very special day for the kids. The Faith Interdenominational Church Director Pst.Risper Butaki took rounds in all the classes and had wonderful moments with the children. This was a way of assessing how they were fairing on with the VBS learning sessions,as she continues to mentor them, keeping in mind that majority of the children, come from homes whose parents or guardians are not born-again Christians.

Day four was such an amazing and fantastic day.We look back and are full of gratitude for the far the Lord has brought us even as we continue to trust in His guidance as we come to the climax of this year's VBS on Sunday.

FIC VBS DAY THREE

Day three of the Faith Interdenominational Church - Kitale children Vacation Bible School was very incredible, memorable and full of fun.

Today, the teachers turned learning into easily understood concepts through creative and informative ideas inform of drama,poem,art and crafts,games etc. in order to illustrate each of key lessons for the day.

The topic for today was 'Baby Jesus is born, 'from Luke 2:1-7 and the memory verse from 2 Corinthians 9:15 that states, 'Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!'

All the children were given equal chance and opportunity to participate in the various sessions, while the teachers helped those who had difficulties grasping the wonderful lessons from God's word.

The teens had a wonderful Q&A session, where they were given an opportunity to ask difficult questions while at the same time, they sought clarification on their issues of concern.

All in all, day three turned out to be very fulfilling and memorable as we look forward to day 4 tomorrow!
