LOMOJO LAID TO REST IN DAPAR VILLAGE

The late Lomojo, who was killed last week at Lokwar, Kaputir Ward, has today been laid to rest at Dapar Village, Lokichar Ward.

The burial was attended by family members, friends, community leaders and residents who gathered to honour his life and offer support to the bereaved family.

His death, reportedly linked to an armed bandit attack, has renewed concerns over insecurity affecting communities in parts of Turkana South.

As the community mourns his passing, calls for enhanced security and protection of residents continue to grow.

Politics often creates friendships based on a shared vision, interests and common ambitions. Introduction

One of the greatest truths in life is that a beautiful location does not always mean beautiful living. The Bible tells us about the Beautiful Gate of the Temple in Jerusalem. It was magnificent and admired by many, yet every day a man who had been lame from birth was laid at its entrance to beg (Acts 3:2).

This teaches us that you can be surrounded by beauty while living with pain. You can be in a good family, attend a great church, have a respectable job, or live in a prosperous city, yet still carry burdens that no one sees.

Many people are standing at their own "Beautiful Gate" today, but their lives are filled with ugly situations—sickness, poverty, disappointment, delay, broken relationships, unanswered prayers, and hopelessness.

The good news is this: when you encounter divine help, your situation changes for the better.

Point One: You Can Be at a Beautiful Place and Still Have an Ugly Situation

Acts 3:2

The lame man was brought every day to the Beautiful Gate.

He was near the Temple but far from freedom.

He was surrounded by worshippers but remained a beggar.

He was close to God's house, yet he still suffered.

Many people today are in similar situations.

You may have a good education but no employment.

You may be married but have no peace.

You may own a business but see no profit.

You may faithfully attend church but still carry heavy burdens.

Your environment cannot change your destiny. Only an encounter with God can.

Point Two: Human Help Can Sustain You, but Divine Help Will Transform You

Every day people carried the lame man to the gate.

They helped him survive, but they could not heal him.

Human help may take you part of the way, but only God's help can completely change your life.
