It’s okay to lose hope…
In people.
In systems.
Even in yourself sometimes.

Because life will disappoint you.
People will fail you.
Plans will fall apart.
And even your own strength will run out.

But never lose hope in God.
He remains constant when everything else collapses.
He stays faithful when nothing else makes sense.
And even when you can’t see the way — He is still making one.

> “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31

Interview Question #7: “Tell me about a time you failed.”

Many candidates freeze here—not because they’ve never failed, but because they’re unsure how to frame it positively.

Here’s how to approach it smartly:

1. Be honest—but strategic
Pick a real situation, not something too small or too catastrophic.

2. Show growth
Highlight what you learned and how you improved afterward.

3. End with a positive note
Explain how the experience made you better professionally.

Example:
"Early in my customer service career, I once misunderstood a client’s urgency and delayed a follow-up. It impacted their satisfaction. I took responsibility, apologized, and since then, I’ve developed a system to track time-sensitive requests. That moment taught me the value of proactive communication."

Moral? Failing isn’t the issue—failing to grow from it is.

Interview Question #6: “Tell me about a time you had a conflict at work and how you handled it.”

This one has come up for many of us—and it can feel like a trap. But it's actually an opportunity to highlight maturity, emotional intelligence, and teamwork.

Here’s how to approach it:

1. Keep it professional – Avoid personal drama.
2. Focus on resolution – What steps did you take to find common ground?
3. Reflect and grow – What did the experience teach you?

Example:
In a past role, a colleague and I had different approaches to meeting deadlines. Tension began to grow, but I chose to initiate a respectful conversation. We discovered our working styles just needed better alignment. From there, we set clearer expectations, which improved our collaboration and delivery speed.

Takeaway: Conflict happens. The goal is not to avoid it entirely but to handle it with grace and communication.

I had shared this earlier, but I believe it's worth repeating—because mastering this question can make a real difference.

There are moments in life when I’ve dug myself into a pit — not out of despair, but in faith. I laid dreams down, surrendered timelines, and trusted God enough to let certain things die.

Why? Because I believe in the law of the seed.

Some things have to fall into the ground and be buried before they can bloom. Not everything that looks like loss is loss. Not every burial is a funeral — some are plantings.

In those quiet, hidden seasons, I’ve learned to wait. To trust. To water the soil with prayer, even when I couldn’t see what was happening beneath the surface.

And slowly, surely, new life begins to rise.

So if you’re in a season of waiting, burying, or letting go — don’t lose heart. Keep showing up. Keep believing. There is purpose in your process. And just like the seed, what you sow in faith will grow in time.

The breakthrough is beneath your feet.

Just as promised yesterday, let's help each other tackle the very first tricky interview question:
👇
Interview Question 1: “Tell me about yourself.”
(Yes — I’ve shared on this before, but it’s worth repeating because it remains one of the most misunderstood questions.)

This isn’t just small talk. It’s your first impression — a golden opportunity to steer the conversation and position yourself confidently.

Here’s how to approach it:

1. Start with your present:
What role are you in now? What are you focused on?

2. Go back a bit:
Briefly explain how you got here — your relevant experience or background.

3. Highlight your strengths:
Share 2–3 standout skills, traits, or accomplishments that match the role.

4. Connect it to the future:
Why are you here? What are you looking for next?

Example:
"I’m a dedicated Customer Support professional with over 3 years of experience in both inbound and outbound roles. I’ve worked with CRMs like Salesforce to resolve customer issues efficiently and boost satisfaction. I also recently helped coordinate scheduling and logistics for customer device deliveries, which taught me the importance of timeliness and follow-through. Now, I’m excited to bring that same energy to a role that combines support, admin coordination, and meaningful customer interaction."

Bonus Tip: Practice this out loud. Clarity and confidence matter as much as content.

Tomorrow: Question 2 — "Why should we hire you?"
