Banisa By-election | Mandera leaders led by the Governor held a consultative stakeholder engagement with women and youth in Banisa town.

The leaders rallied support for Hon. Ahmed Barre Maalim Hassan, the UDA candidate under the Kenya Kwanza coalition, in the upcoming Banisa Constituency by-election slated for November 27, 2025.

During the meeting, leaders also emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and unity before, during and after the by-election.

The women and youth of Banisa town unanimously pledged their full support for Hon. Ahmed Barre.

Today, Mandera Governor Mohamed Adan Khalif, accompanied by Deputy Governor Dr. Ali Mahamud, Senator Ali Ibrahim Roba, Mandera South MP Hon. Abdul Haro, Mandera West MP Hon. Adan Hajji, Mandera North MP Maj. Bashir Abdullahi and several MCAs, held a consultative stakeholder engagement with elders and Ulama in Banisa town.
