Kenya Publishers Association fondly known as KPA is the umbrella body for book publishers in Kenya. The association encourages the widest possible spread of printed books throughout Kenya and beyond. Apart from promoting and protecting by all lawful means the interests of the publishing industry in Kenya, , the association also seeks to protect its members by dealing collectively with problems wh

ich can best be so dealt with. It was formed in 1972 and has grown to a current membership of 70 publishing firms. KPA is the second oldest publishers’ association in Africa after Nigeria.

BREAKING...
The Kenya Publishers Association have announced the dates for the 26th edition of the Nairobi International Book Fair (NIBF).
This year's NIBF takes place at the Sarit Center Expo, from September 24 to 28.
The theme of this year's book fair is 'Inspiring Readers, Shaping Futures'.
To put things into perspective, the Nairobi International Book Fair is the greatest literary event in Sub-Saharan Africa.
